This training module explains the definitions of a Silencer, and tells you how to recognize and detect a silencer from a fake “look-alike”. It also explains how they work, and the law concerning registering them with ATF, and possessing or making them. It also explains and shows how to detect and enforce devices that, although intended for other purposes, are commonly used as silencers illegally.
